Kelly has a BFA from Auburn University in Sculpture and a MFA from Georgia State University in Sculpture.

She has taught Drawing, Watercolor, Glass, Sculpture, Color Theory, Design, 3-D Design, Art Appreciation, Illustration, and Mixed Media at these Atlanta area Art Centers and Universities.
